WILL MY JUNE & CO JEWELLERY ORDER BE HALLMARKED?

Yes, June & Co Jewellery has a registered hallmark with Birmingham Assay Office. We predominantly work with sterling silver and all items above the weight threshold will be hallmarked.

WHAT IS HALLMARKING?

A hallmark is an official mark/sequence of symbols that is applied to a piece of jewellery which has been thoroughly tested through the assaying process. This certifies the purity of precious metals and therefore provides assurance for your jewellery and metals.

IS A HALLMARK REQUIRED ON ALL JEWELLERY?

The legal requirements for hallmarking depend on the weight and type of metal being marked. In the UK all jewellery requires a hallmark, with the exception of items that are under the legal weight threshold:

• 7.78g - Silver
• 1g - Gold
• 0.5g Platinum
• 1g Palladium
